Jumping on the bandwagon from yesterday...

I wasn't around yesterday and was not feeling up to the task to introduce myself to y'all late last night so I'm doing it now! My real name is Grant and I'm a recent college grad with a BA in French and International Affairs. I dd that Alfa Spider 2000 Veloce (We're having a fight at the moment) and I work in a local winery as the Assistant Winemaker (not sure if thats what I wanna do for the rest of my life but it super fun!) I've had authorship on Oppo for about half a year or so but I've been lurking on Oppo and the FP for a few years now. I'm obsessed with anything that has 4 wheels and an engine (but mostly I love anything built before 1990) and can usually be found on Oppo, Jalopnik, Petrolicious, Alfabb, or the youtubes obsessing over cars or on CL, BAT, or DailyTurismo looking for the next ride. I know more about cars than any of my friends and am waiting for the day I meet someone who knows more. Saabstory I'm looking at you, you lucky bastard.

I also love taking photos of cars and am planning on getting a DSLR as soon as I have enough money, which probably means never since the Alfa is slowly consuming all of it. The only downside to photographing a car is that I can't be driving it at the same time. Which is my most favoritest thing to do. I really need to figure out how to get paid to drive. I also like doing not so sane things in auto. For example, I'm watching Roadkill Live as I write this, I yearn to take the Alfa skiing, top down of course (I need to fix 5th gear first though), and want to beat the crap out of a beater a la !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

As my handle (stuttgartobsessed) would suggest I love Ze Germans! Which I do. Though I currently have an Italian and desperately want some French lovin'. I absolutely love Porsches and must have one. Though I'll probably change my oppo name as soon as I think of some thing better.

Thats all I can think to say now except to say that all Seattle/Tacoma area opponauts/jalops need to do something!

I'm off to go hit things with a hammer until the Alfa decides to cooperate. Ciao.

Sick! I'm planning on coming down to Portland Cars & Coffee one of these days once the weather is warmer and I'm confident that the Alfa will make it back! haha. I'm in the process of replacing the starter motor and then finding a long term solution to why the oil is always low and dirty... Oh and I have to fix the radiator and get 5th gear sealed.... So I'll be down eventually haha
